    University campuses have long been the focus of political protests and demonstrations. In recent weeks, students galvanized by their consciences have been leading an anti-war movement the likes of which hasn't been seen in the U.S. in decades -- and it is spreading like wildfire. At last count, at least 100 encampments have been launched at colleges and universities.

      A healthy democracy requires civic morality. Absent a set of virtues, principles and norms, our constitutional order falls apart like an IKEA bed that’s missing screws. We must develop and adhere to a new civic code. This code should minimally instill within every American 10 commitments:

      Older adults add incredible value to America’s workforce. But increasingly seniors are returning to work to merely make ends meet. Low savings, longer lives and a rickety safety net are combining to present new challenges, especially in Florida. It’s a reminder that society benefits both from ready employment and from protecting Americans’ golden years.
